How to Submit Your Entry

Joining the Challenge is easy!

  • You must be registered for the 2020 Symposium to enter.
  • Login to your account.
If you are registered for the conference, you should have an account already. Use the "forgot password" on the login page to reset your account.
  • Once you are logged in, go to My Menu at the top right of the page, hover over "Submit a Map or App," then select the contest you want to enter. There is no limit to the number of contests you can enter, although the student contest is limited to projects completed by students in a GIS or related degree program.
  • Read through the contest details, complete the form, and upload an image for your submission. You will also have the option to add up to 5 additional screenshots/images of your submission. This is a great opportunity to showcase your work. For large posters, submit one overall image of the full poster, then up to 5 additional images of zoomed-in portions of your poster.
