  • Description: Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) Right of Way (ROW) properties. The properties surrounding Arizona roadways owned and managed by the State of Arizona. Access control (Ability for vehicles to depart and enter roadways) depicts segments where access is restricted. Potential Abandonment Segments depict locations where ownership/responsibility between agencies is unclear. Many intersections have multiple potential abandonment segments; each intersection represents the total maintenance miles for surrounding potential abandonment segments. The application is a visual aid used by the Arizona Department of Transportation to coordinate current and future projects within ADOT as well as external local governments/agencies.
