FAQs - AGIC Symposium

If you have a question about the AGIC Education & Training Symposium and can't find an answer here, please email us with your question at info@agicsymposium.org.  We will continue to update this page as we get additional questions.

You must be registered for the AGIC Symposium in order to access the program.

Once registered, login to access the conference. Then:

  • Access the Program from your My AGIC page or the Attend menu by selecting Conference Program and Agenda
    • Note: if you are not already logged in, you will be prompted to login. See below if you have trouble with the login.
  • From the program
    • Select the session you want to attend
    • On the session details page, click the "Join Session" button and a WebEx session will open in a new window
  • The virtual platform used for all AGIC Symposium sessions is WebEx. If you want to test accessing a WebEx session, go here. A few tips about WebEx:
    • You will be automatically muted when joining sessions
    • Keep your video off to improve bandwidth
    • Use the Chat function to ask the presenter questions

  • Troubleshooting login issues:
    • Use the "Forgot Password" or "Forgot Username" options from the login page
    • Be sure to use the same email address you used when you registered for the Symposium
    • Be sure you can accept mail from info@agicsymposium.org (check your spam folders)
    • If you still have trouble, send an email to info@agicsymposium.org and one of our volunteers will help you get connected

Registration and access is handled entirely by the workshop provider. Visit the detail event page for the workshop you are interested in on how to register. For questions about registration or access to the course, contact the instructor (speaker) listed at the bottom of the page.

Yes. Each session will be recorded. The recorded sessions will be made available a few weeks after the conference.

No! The event is open to anyone with an interest in GIS and geospatial technologies. This is the best geospatial event in Arizona that brings together geospatial professionals from around the state. It's an excellent opportunity to see the latest advances in geospatial technology, to network with your peers, and to share and learn from each other.

AGIC is the Arizona Geographic Information Council. AGIC serves as Arizona's primary forum and oversight group for geographic information and geographic information technology issues and coordination efforts. To learn more about the Council, visit the main AGIC website.
