  • Description: The Safer City Hub Application combines four Operation Dashboards and a Web AppBuilder Application with text and PDF documents to show live revenue and expenditures for the Safer City (Police and Fire) component of Tucson’s Proposition 101. The first dashboard, a single gauge widget, immediately shows visitors how much of our revenue goal has been collected to date. The next dashboard, “Progress Towards Expenditure and Deployment: Overview,” shows users how much of the collected revenue has been expended to date and which key categories this spending has gone towards. The third dashboard, “Progress Towards Expenditure and Deployment: Detailed List,” adds further granularity to expenditures, showing citizens details about specific acquisitions such as patrol laptops and ballistic vests that their taxes are making possible. Monthly, cumulative, and projected revenue and expenditure by month and year are presented in the last dashboard. A web app displays, “Safer City Facility Upgrades,” shows which police and fire stations are being remodeled or rebuilt, along with images of the facilities. Brought together in this way, these tools help create an open, more transparent government that our citizens can feel proud of investing in and supporting
