Hands On Workshops
This year we are once again offering hands on workshops in computer labs. Space is limited. To be guaranteed a seat in any hands-on workshop, you must be registered.
Workshops are included as part of your conference registration, so you must be registered for the conference before you can register for a workshop. See instructions below on how to register.
Online registration for workshops is now closed. You may show up at the workshop and check with the room volunteer for available seating or wait list options.

How to Register for a Workshop
You must be registered to attend the conference. If you haven't registered for the conference, do that first.
- When you registered for the conference, you were sent a username and password to login to the site. Using that username and password, login to the site from the top menu.
- Once you are logged in, select Hands On Workshop Registration from the My Menu item at the top right of the page.
- Once on the Workshops page, select the workshop you're interested in to read details about the workshop and to register.
NOTE: Seating is limited to one person per computer in the labs. Workshops in the Arizona room have 15 computers. Workshops in the Copper Basin room have 18 computers.
Waiting List Details
Because there are a limited number of laptops available in each of the hands-on workshop labs, registration is required in order to reserve a spot. Once all the seats have been filled, you can still register for the workshop and you'll be given a "Wait List" ticket which puts you on the waiting list.
- When there is a cancellation, the first person on the waiting list will be moved into the reserved spot.
- If a spot opens up for you by September 27, 2019, you will get an email confirmation.
- At the time of the workshop registered attendees have 5 minutes after the start of the workshop to claim their seat.
- Any seats that are available 5 minutes after the start of the workshop will be given to persons on the waiting list.
- There will be limited seating in the back of each computer lab. If you did not get a reserved spot at a computer and there are seats (without a computer) available in the back of the room, you may sit in the back of the room and observe the course.
