    Chris Aldridge gives keynote address
  • The 2016 Education & Training Symposium was held September 21-23, 2016 at the Prescott Resort and Conference Center.
  • The Keynote Speaker was Chris Aldridge, CP, RPP, SP
    • Oh You Work in Geospatial: so that's like Google, right? What does the future look like for the next generation of GIS practitioners, surveyors, photogrammetrists, and engineers? The profession I (we?) have chosen is changing at an unprecedented rate. Chris previewed some of the technology that has shaped our past along with the technology that is going to help shape our future, bringing the different geospatial disciplines closer and closer together. Chris talked about what cool tools and applications are just around the corner (or here already!) and why an understanding of "geospatial" is more important now than ever before.

  • Conference attendees were provided two post-conferences activities to decompress from filling their brains with knowledge by either kayaking on Watson Lake or hiking around Goldwater Lakes
